MIDLIFE JOURNEY

It is what it is. Too old to be young and too young to be old – the middle years. The body changes, it often feels weary and worn. Life’s dreams unfulfilled are left behind. At work, a younger generation forges ahead. It’s a challenge, giving up on old dreams to seek newer more suitable ones… that now fit the person one truly is. It‘s not easy to accept the irreversibility of time. And yet, it‘s liberating to know one’s self better, and to be economically better situated than in the past. Life is beautiful ... but unlike it was in younger years.
